OVHcloud, the European leader in cloud computing, announces that it has today acquired OpenIO, a French company specializing in object storage.

In just a few years, OpenIO has distinguished itself by designing the new generation of S3-compatible object storage solutions [1] , best suited to Big Data and High Performance Computing workloads. As such, they are ideal for storing the large amounts of data required by machine learning latest mailing database and artificial intelligence applications.

The entire staff of OpenIO will join the OVHcloud teams, in Roubaix, Paris, and internationally.
